Snooker
- Due to the generosity of members during the last two years both tables have
now been re-covered and are in excellent condition
- Enough money was given in donations to allow the purchase of a further cue extension.
- The lighting on each of the tables has been refurbished due to an individual
donation and members’ voluntary work.
Bowling
- After continued hard work by members the green is now in an excellent condition
and should provide a first class playing surface for next season
- The boarding around the green has been completely replaced in recent months using money from our National Lottery Grant
- The maintenance of the green has been sponsored by Holland Finney and Associates Chartered Quantity surveyors - 84 King Street Newcastle-under-Lyme Staffordshire ST5 1JB
- New members are urgently needed and we have created a new special category for those
who just want to bowl and use the bar during the summer period (April 1st to September 30th).
Grants
- The club has just (July 2008) been awards a grant of over £1800 from the Local Member Initiative Scheme of Stafforshire County Council. As a result work will start on replacing the kitchen floor, removing asbestos sheeting from the storage shed for the green maintenance equipment and replacing it with a safe alternative. The assistance of Councillor Mick Clarke is much appreciated!
- Last Year (2007), the club was awarded £9595 from
the National Lottery to replace the central heating system,
install loft insulation, repair doors and provide disabled toilets
and access facilities.
- In recent years the club has succesfully raised grants from , Newcastle-under-Lyme
Community Chest, the Barracks Trust and the borough's Sports Council.
The money raised have has helped us to fully repair the roof. Many
thanks go to Councillor Mick Clarke for his advice on this matter,
and those volunteers who gave up their time and skills to help

hope to help you learn how to play!
- We are looking for offers of sets of woods for the youth members, so
